Buhari signs N8.92trn Appropriation Bill into law

Presiden Muhammadu Buhari, Monday, signed the 2019 Appropriation bill into law.
Earlier, the National Assembly had passed the 2019 Budget of N8.92trn, as against N8.83trn presented by President Buhari on December 18, 2018
The increase of N90bn in the budget was to cater for security challenges in the country, packages for lawmakers and support for Zamfara State.
The President, however, faulted the increase in the budget, which introduced new projects.
