Senator Nnamani reveals legislative plan for constituency
Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, former Governor of Enugu State says he will hit the ground running in the Ninth Senate by participating actively in debates that will impact meaningfully on the lives of the people in his constituency.
Senator Nnamani was speaking with our Correspondent, Tuesday, after the first Plenary of the Senate.
The lawmaker, who is also a medical doctor, said that he will sponsor bills and motions aimed at repositioning the country’s health sector.
He further said he would be actively involved in the debate in other areas including electoral reform, infrastructure, aviation and human rights.
Other areas of interest, according to him, are female genital mutilation, VVF, maternity and paternity leave.
Senator Nnamani, who is representing Enugu East senatorial district, also said that he is full of expectancy of fruitful legislative years.
