Kogi West: INEC declared election inconclusive as Dino trails Smart

The Independent National Electoral Commission on Sunday declared inconclusive the election of the November 16 Kogi West Senatorial District.
This is because the margin of win was less than the total cancelled votes.
In the result declared so far in the election characterised with thurgery, violence and malpractice, Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party is behind Smart Adeyemi of the All Progressive Congress.
INEC said that Adeyemi scored a total of 80,118 votes while Melaye got 59,548 votes.
It said that it will announce a date for the supplementary election.
