Anti Corruption Day: hon. Ahmad calls for prayers for Nigeria
Honourable Badau Yusuf Ahmad, member representing Shanono/Bagwai Federal Constituency of Kano State has has enjoined Nigerians to pray for the leadership of the country in order to effectively curb corruption.
Hon. Ahmad was speaking with EagleEyes Post, Monday in Abuja during an interview.
The Lawmaker also want the people to put an end to selfish interest in order to ensure that corrupt practices is reduced to a minimal level.
He assured that there will be results in the fight against corruption as some have been recorded already in the process of the budget.
“In the past, there used to be budget padding but in this budget there is nothing like that, so it is an achievement”, Ahmad said.
On his constituency programs, he said that alot have been put into the budget for the constituents and hoping that President Muhammadu Buhari will do his best to release what has been budgeted for.
He added that a lot of progress has been made since he took over as compared to twenty years of representation from other members from his constituency.
