Dance, praises and worship as DIGC Mararaba Central celebrate 16th year anniversary
Sunday August 23 was a day of dance, praise, worship and unlimited joy for members of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), Mararaba Central, Dunamis Road, by Check Point, Nasarawa State.
Although it was inaugurated on 24th of August, 2004, the church was celebrating sixteen (16) years of spreading the gospel, God’s faithfulness and help in all these years of massive impact.

The church also empowered a good number of people as part of its corperate social responsibilities in order to ensure that the theme for year -‘Supernatural Shift’ become a reality in their lives.
Men and women, old and young were beautifully dressed, mostly in native attires. The choristers were in their best elements as they sang out their hearts. The church’s main auditorium was filled to the brim; even the large canopy mounted at the premises accommodated hundreds of congregants.

Right from the blast of the service, the congregation was charged into a protracted praise session by the Resident Pastor, Pastor Bartholomew Ocheh. At every interval, in all the four services, the people broke into aggressive praises, dance and worship to the glory of God.
Pastor Bartholomew stressed the importance of thanking God for His goodness and mercies. Reading from Psalm 103, he said never forget the good things God has done.

In pursuit of divine mandate, Pastor Bartholomew joined the church and was in Dunamis Bible School when this branch was about to start. Speaking with the Newsmen, he recalled that he participated massively in the publicity.
“It has been an interesting thing to be part of this work force. From Bible School, I became the Resident Pastor of DIGC, Karimo, a suburb in Abuja, from there to Kaduna and today I am here. It has been a good journey under the grace that is at work in the leadership of Senior Pastor (Dr.) Paul Enenche, DIGC, worldwide”, he recalled.

“The impact of the church in this host community has been massive. Recently, the road constructed by this church was inaugurated few months ago by Senior Pastor. Dunamis in this area has become a household name.
“As a light, the church, according to Pastor Bartholomew has brought succour to its host community in the area of infrastructural development such as road, school, borehole water and other community services rendered.

“The church has placed many children on scholarship and has been giving free health care services. The church has done so much to see that people in this area benefit from the church”, he stated.
Quoting John 10:10, he said Jesus came to give life in abundance. As a church, one of the ways to see that people enjoy abundant life is to see them being empowered. In the light of this, the church also empowered men and women who are in need.
Also speaking during the celebration, the wife of the Resident Pastor, Mrs Sandra Oche said that she was excited over the empowerment done by church.

She stated that the Women’s Department will ensure that the beneficiaries are monitored in order to ensure that the money is used to the glory of God and to establishment of their lives.
Mrs Oche also enjoined women to be up and doing. “Don’t abandon yourselves, no woman should be a full house wife. Do something with your life in order to see the blessings of God in the work of your hands”, she stated.

Speaking during the celebration, Minister Zenda Moses said that alot of transformation have taken place in the lives of the people, miracles signs and wonders have been the order of the day since the commencement of this branch.
“So many pastors passed through this place, this branch gave birth to other branches and we have seen the glory of God in all”, he said.

“It has been awesome and wonderful, have seen the tangible, palpable presence and almightiness of God like never before in these 16 years.
“We have not only seen a shift in number from hundreds to thousands, but have seen so many lives being touched, changed and their expectations are being met”, Daka said.
