Why I Take Constituency Projects Seriously -Rep Peller
Hon Shina Peller, member representing Isheyin, Itesiwoju, Kajola, Iwajowa Federal Constituency of Oyo State, Hon. Shina Abiola Peller has said that his major interest is to impact on the lives of the members of his constituents positively.
Hon. Peller was speaking when he received an award of Recognition on him by “Nigeria Assembly Newspaper”, on him by for his philanthropic, and legislative acumen, Friday in Abuja.
The lawmaker stated that it is his passion is to impact the lives of his constituents positively, irrespective of any political gains.
He said that irrespective of what might accrue to him political, the lives of the people of his constituent must be impacted optimally.
According to Hon.Peller: “with this kind of recognition, I am challenged to do more. going down memory lane, before I join politics, I have dug 60 bore holes, a hostel accommodation for NYSC and have organised a football Competition for his people all geared towards giving them a sense of belonging”.
Speaking further, the philanthropists/ lawmaker said it was his people that called him to come and represent them seing the benefits he brought to bear on them by his philanthropic gesture and as such is not afraid of his political fortune going forward.
With regards to the recent #EndSars protest by the youth, Hon. Peller is of the view that they should have explored more diplomatic ways of engagement with the government, there by saving some of the infrastructures that were wantonly destroyed.
He stated that the resources that ordinarily should be use for Electoral reforms will now be used for rebuilding the destroyed structures .
