Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis Church debunks news of gunmen attacks
The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Center, Dr. Paul Enenche has debunked the news making rounds that an unknown gunmen attacked a branch of the church.
This was contained in a statement issued by him on Tuesday, describing it as fake story.
Pastor Enenche warned on spreading fake story and relying on social media as source of authentic news.
He mentioned that thieves tried to steal something in the night and were resisted. They ran away when alarm was raised.
“Let me warn you, don’t you tell any story that is a lie.The lies of man do not increase the Almightiness of God.
“Anybody who stands on this altar and tells a lie in the name of giving a testimony won’t recover from it forever’ he stated.
“Gehazi told a lie and that lie followed his generation. Please be warned. God does not need the support of man to be Almighty. He doesn’t need the support of man” Enenche warned.
In his words: “I want to make it clear that there is a demonic news that someone drew my attention to, the devil’s church, not this church, was attacked and worshippers were attacked by armed men.
“You know we live in a world that is thriving on lies, especially on social media. I don’t know if 80% – 90% of news there are not lies.
“We also live in a world where people anticipate evil for others. From a rooted heart of bitterness, wickedness of heart, continually expecting evil news, and then they push what is unreal, they spread what is untrue.
“We are worshipping here right now, the camera can show everybody worshipping here, nothing!
“For everybody who tells a story that is not true, whether you are telling it online, or you are telling it in hardcopy paper or you are telling it on a channel, whatever, I refer you to Revelation 21:8 – listen to this: But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death.
“Listen to me, When you tell a story that is not true, it is hellfire you are playing with. When you tell a story that is not true, or you spread news that you are not sure of, or you push rumour that is not correct, it is hellfire you are playing with.
“In a particular location, petty thieves tried to come and steal something in the night, they were resisted, an alarm was raised and they ran off, over the fence.
“Some people picked a hint of such an unsuccessful misadventure of petty criminals and calls it ‘armed men attacks worshippers’.
“Nothing like that ever happened, nothing like that has happened or will ever happen in the Name of Jesus!
“Let it be made very clear that rumour, untruth, fallacy and fabrications are being pushed in the air.
He enjoined people globally to be more excited with good news than bad ones, adding that there are stories that should never spread.
“We take authority over every agenda of armed banditry, agenda of terrorism and every such agenda in our nation, your tenancy in this land expires, in Jesus’ Name!”, he declared.
