Hon. Laori gets approval to establish a Nigeria Institute for Leather Science Technology Extension Service Center Numan, Commissions other Project in Constituency
Despite the heightened political activities with various aspirants jostling for one position or another, Member representing Numan, Demsa and Lamurde Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Kwamoti B. Laori remains more committed to delivering life impacting project in his Constituency.
A Fully furnished 6 Classrooms block sponsored by Hon Laori was commissioned by the paramount ruler of Bachama Kingdom, HRM Dr. Daniel Shaga Ismaila (oon) in Numan yesterday the 16th May, 2022 in Adamawa State.
He applauded the lawmaker for his foresight in bridging the gap by undertaking such a project.
While commissioning the building, the paramount ruler decried the deteriorating level of infrastructure bedeviling the education sector in his domain.

Honourable Laori, in his remarks disclosed that he has secured an approval for the establishment of the Nigeria Institute for Leather Science Technology (NILEST) Extension Service Center in Numan in Adamawa State.
He revealed that the newly commissioned building would be used as temporary Site for takeoff of the institute.
He further hinted that the Center when fully functional would afford youth across Adamawa State and parts of Northeast the opportunity to be trained on leather goods manufacturing technology at a subsidized cost.
Interestingly, products such as footwear, seat covers, bags, belts and wallets of all kinds would be produced locally in Numan for export”, he said.
He therefore called on the youth to look in the direction of skill acquisition rather than the hunt for white collar jobs.
He further gave assurance to the youth that he would continue to do his best to support skills and entrepreneurship development to enhance self reliance,
He maintained that for the youth to come of the debacle of unemployment and poverty such meaningful ventures should be encouraged.
The Lawmaker thanked the Bachama Traditional Council for offering to donate land for the Permanent Site of the Center.
Also speaking at the event, the Principal of the School thanked the Member for adding to the number of Classrooms in the school and prayed that another major challenge the institution faces is the lack of Water and pleaded for assistance in that area too.
Hon. Laori also donated customized writing materials to the students as part of gesture of encouragement, stating that the concerns raised by the Principal were noted.
Highlights of the event included cultural dance display by the Ngara Njiya Cultural Troupe.
Dignitaries who graced the event included the Chief LD Nzadon, Prince Yakubu Ngbale, Prof. Dishi Khobe, Council Chairman Pharm. Christopher Sofore among others.
