PFANN President Urges Nigerians to discourage Vote Buying & Selling
The president and founder of the Partnership For A New Nigeria Development Initiative (PFANN), Dr. Elishama Ideh urges Nigerians to discourage vote buying and selling ahead of the 2019 elections.
Speaking with our Reporter yesterday in Abuja, Dr. Ideh said that the challenge of Vote buying should be tackled collectively with a view to seeing a new Nigeria emerge.
“One party cannot tackle this menace, it is a collective responsibility for all in our various capacities and platforms to educate Nigerians on the danger of selling their votes”, she said.
Dr Ideh also said that lack of faith in the political system is a major driving force vote buying and selling, adding that the more this continues the greater danger it brings to our nation.
Dr Ideh, a presidential aspirant on the platform of Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), also charged members of the press to educate Nigerians on the danger of vote buying and selling.
