What Senator Aduda Said About Defecting to APC
In order to debunk the claim that he has defected to All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Phillip Tanimu Aduda said that he cannot leave the party that brought him to the National Assembly.
Aduda, while speaking with newsmen, on Thursday, urged his supporters to disregard any report that he has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
“I want to make it clear that I did not defect from PDP to APC as being reported by some media outlets and on social media. I remain in PDP and will have nothing to with APC”, he said.
“It is a fact that I have been championing the things that will bring about peace, unity and prosperity in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“Survival belongs to God. As He made it possible for me to be the only senator in FCT elected on the platform of the PDP, He will continue to guide and see me through “, Aduda said.
Senator Aduda is representing the Federal Capital Territory Constituency in the upper chamber in the National Assembly.
