Former U17 undergoes surgery
Muhammad Ibrahim, former U17 otherwise known as the Eaglets and Gombe United player, Thursday successfully underwent a pelvic surgery.
He was operated upon at the revered Trinity Orthopaedic Hospital in Kano and he is expected to start the first phase of his recovery in few weeks.
Ibrahim is expected to stay out of action for some time ht operations.
He got the injury in one of his training sessions with the Desert Scorpions last season and has been out of action since then. The player was part of team that qualified the Golden Eaglets for the 2019 FIFA under 17 World Cup in Brazil having participated in most of the qualifying matches. He was dropped few days to the cadet World Cup during the final camping held in Brazil.
