Hon. Laori gives account of stewardship to constituents
Member representing Numan/Demsa/Lamurde federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Honourable Kwamoti Bitrus Laori has assured that he would continue to deliver effective, purposeful and responsive representation.
Laori, made the promise while giving account of his stewardship after one year in office as a lawmaker at the Feed Back Meeting with Stakeholders from Numan/Demsa/Lamurde federal constituency.

The Lawmaker, who was on course to change the narrative of representation, has been able to give his people quality representation despite obvious challenges.
Rt. Hon. Laori, who made security, youth empowerment/employment and infrastructural development his key areas of priority has successfully executed several projects.

Among the projects are Rehabilitation of Industrial Borehole in Demsa and Farai, Rehabilitation of Water Treatment Plant, Numan in collaboration with Adamawa State Government, Rehabilitation of Electric Power Transformer in Mararraba-Dakanta Dwam ward, Provision of 6.5KVA Electric Power Generator to power community borehole in Wayam Sabo Pegi ward of Numan LGA.
Others are distribution of textbooks to secondary schools, essential drugs to rural communities and support to the less privileged across his constituency.

According to him, 56 million naira will be disbursed to twenty (20) beneficiaries, one hundred and three (103) persons were trained in various skill acquisition programs, as well as distribution of of water pumps, laptops, cash support to farmers across Numan/Demsa/Lamurde, based on applications received at the constituency office.

Not found wanting in his legislative functions, Hon. La’ori has presented motions in the green chamber of the National Assembly. These include Amendment of Motion on Youth Employment Based on Merit Against Patronage of Sectorial Interests, Motion on the need to enhance Broad Base Agriculture Towards Improving Agriculture Output to ensure Food Security, Motion Federal Government Intervention and Provide Palliatives to Communities Ravaged by Flood Numan/Demsa/Lamurde.

Other bills and motions in the pipeline are: A Bill for an Act to Establish the Federal College of Education (Technical), Numan, Adamawa State, Motion to Investigate the Non-completion of Numan-Lafia Road, Motion for the Construction of Multi-purpose Buffer Dam in Dasin-Fufore to Mitigate Flood and Investigation into the Abandoned Rice Mill Project in Lamurde LGA, Awarded by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in 2011.
This is the first time a Feedback Meeting is held with stakeholders in the history of representation of the Numan/Demsa/Lamurde federal constituency.
