A Stakeholder harps on cultural promotion for the sustenance of Mada ethnic group
The people of Mada of Nasarawa State, has been urged to continue to promote their cultural heritage for sustenance and development of the ethnic group.

Princess Gloria K Ahmed, Deputy Director Parastatals Special Duties, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federal, made this known on the Mada Development Association (MDA), Cultural Day celebration, held recently in Abuja.
Mrs Gloria also urged parents not to relent in teaching their children on the values of the Mada cultural heritage in order to ensure that it is passed from generation to generation.

“On my part, I have taken initiative to empower Mada women and youths of Mada in Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large in order to promote our culture and their interest at the federal level, in order to ensure that the ethnic group did not go into extinction”, she said.

The epitome of beauty, the Princess of Mada Land, who was one time National Vice President of the Mada Development Association (youth wing), could not hide her appreciation for the opportunity to celebrate the cultural festival as it provides platform that will provide unity and development among Mada people.
