Tourism is key to economic diversification
No doubts Nigeria is greatly endowed with natural and human resources to place the country among the developed nations in the world. This is not the case as these numerous resources are not properly harnessed.
It is in the light of this, that the Director, Travel Marketing Partners, Akinlabi Lvasu is urging the Federal Government to look inwards and develop areas that can drive sustainable development in Nigeria.
Lvasu was speaking with our Correspondent at the First National Unity Food Fair, held yesterday in Abuja.
According to Lvasu, tourism the biggest employer of labour all over the world.
He also stated that if an enabling environment is created for tourism to develop, it will create a lot of opportunities for our teaming youths to be productive, thereby enhancing our internally generated revenue.
