Youth Employment: NYO hails Buhari’s approval for NYIF
Nigeria Youth Organization (NYO) hails president Buhari for his approval of the National Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) proposed by the minister of youth and sport, Mr Sunday Dare.
In a statement by the NYO National Secretary General, Comrade Duke K. Alamboye, the National Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) is one of it’s kind and among the great achievements of President Buhari led administration.
He spoke during the Lagos meeting of the national, zonal and state executive members which was hosted on the 29th of August, 2020 by the Lagos State chapter of the organization.
The NYO Board of Trustee (BoT) chairman, Dr Rotimi Ogunlana spoke on the fundamental issues, aims and objectives of the organization. He said the values of the NYO among others is to unite and build the Nigeria youth and should be strictly adhere to. Dr Rotimi encouraged the youth to maintain sense of oneness as the organization is organised to address the issues of nepotism and tribalism among the youth to unite the country. He said, ‘progress can’t be achieved without being united’.
Responding to interrogation, Dr Rotimi said the aim of NYO is to unite every Nigerian youth to be accepted at the leadership positions at various parastatals.
Dr Rotimi, in his bid to promote love and unity among the members of the executive, said love for one another, unity of purpose will bring about success and progress .
