Defence Minister Badaru visits Katsina Governor to Condole Over mother’s passing

The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has paid a condolence visit to the Governor of Katsina State, Mallam Umar Dikko Radda, following the death of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umar Bare-Bari Radda.

Badaru, who visited the Governor at the Katsina Government House, expressed deep sympathy on behalf of himself, his family, the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle, and the entire Ministry of Defence staff.

During the visit, he offered prayers for the late Hajiya Safara’u, asking Almighty Allah to forgive her, grant her mercy, and admit her into Jannatul Firdaus. He also prayed for strength for Governor Radda and his family to bear the loss.

Accompanying the Minister were Hon. Idris Garba Jahun, former Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, as well as Katsina State lawmakers Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Jallo and Hon. Mas’ud A. Naruwa.

The visit reflects the continued solidarity between government officials in moments of personal loss.
