FIFA under 17: Golden Eaglets depart for Brazil

With hopes of doing well at the FIFA Under 17 World Cup, which takes place from October 26 to November 17, the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria departed the country for Brazil.
Coach Manu Garba gave the assurance that they would ensure they prepare adequately before the commencement of the competition later this month, shortly before the team’s departure from Nigeria.
It has been confirmed that the Garba’s team are up against South Korea, Japan and an unnamed Brazilian team in preparation for the World Cup.
Nigeria’s bid for a record extending sixth title will get underway on October 26 against Hungary. The Eaglets are in Group B alongside Hungary, Ecuador and Australia.
