Dee Utensils CEO urges women to strengthen faith, support one another at Abuja prayer conference
The Chief Executive Officer of Dee Utensils, Ambassador Lois Andrew Ihwo, has called on women to strengthen their faith and build a culture of mutual support, saying unity rooted in prayer and encouragement has the power to transform families, communities and the nation.
Ihwo made the call while participating in the Pregnant and Waiting Mothers Prayer Conference held in Abuja, where hundreds of Christian women gathered to seek divine intervention for families, pray for expectant mothers and encourage women trusting God for the gift of children.
The faith-based conference attracted women from diverse professional and social backgrounds and featured sessions of worship, intercessory prayers and biblical exhortations aimed at strengthening the spiritual lives of participants.
Among the ministers who led various sessions were Evangelist Elisabeth Nkwocha of Lagos, guest speaker Dr. Hauwa Briggs, and gospel music minister Eunice Morgan, who ministered through worship.
Special prayers were offered for women believing God for the fruit of the womb, while expectant mothers received prayers for safe pregnancies, successful deliveries and healthy children.
Ihwo, who is blessed with both biological and adopted children, joined worshippers in prayers and fellowship, encouraging women to remain steadfast in their faith regardless of life’s circumstances.
She also participated in the unveiling of a Christian women’s book launched during the conference and supported the initiative, describing such platforms as important avenues for inspiring and strengthening women in their spiritual walk.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, the Dee Utensils CEO urged women to embrace compassion, unity and sincere encouragement instead of rivalry.
According to her, every woman’s journey is different, making it important for women to support one another through prayer, love and practical acts of kindness.
“Every woman has a unique journey, and we become stronger when we lift one another up in prayer, love and genuine encouragement. As women, we must continue to create spaces where faith is strengthened, hope is renewed and lives are transformed. When women unite spiritually, families, communities and nations become better for it,” she said.
The conference was convened by Apostle Oluchi Elkuris as a platform to inspire women to deepen their relationship with God while interceding for homes and families across Nigeria.
The event brought together women professionals, entrepreneurs, business leaders, ministers of the Gospel and participants from various denominations, reflecting a shared commitment to spiritual growth and collective prayer.
Participants described the gathering as a time of spiritual renewal, healing and encouragement, noting that the messages, worship sessions and prayers renewed their confidence in God’s promises.
Many expressed hope that the conference would continue to serve as a platform for strengthening women’s faith, fostering lasting relationships and promoting a culture of prayer and mutual support among Christian women.
Organisers said the annual conference remains committed to creating an atmosphere where women can find spiritual strength, receive encouragement and draw closer to God while building networks that positively impact families and society.
