Neveah Limited earns triple ISO certification, strengthens global competitiveness in quality, sustainability
Neveah Limited, a Nigerian commodities export and recycling company, has achieved three internationally recognised International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications, reinforcing its commitment to quality management, environmental sustainability and workplace safety as it expands its recycling and manufacturing operations.
The company announced that it has been certified under ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
The certifications represent a major milestone for the company as it seeks to align its operations with global best practices while strengthening its position in the international commodities and manufacturing value chain.
According to Neveah, the certifications validate its efforts to improve operational efficiency, deliver consistent product quality, minimise environmental impact and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for employees, contractors, business partners and other stakeholders.
The ISO 9001 certification recognises the company’s quality management systems, demonstrating its commitment to customer satisfaction, continuous process improvement and effective operational controls.
Its ISO 14001 certification underscores Neveah’s environmental management practices, including responsible resource utilisation, waste reduction and sustainable production processes designed to minimise environmental footprints.
Meanwhile, the ISO 45001 certification affirms the company’s occupational health and safety management systems, highlighting its commitment to preventing workplace hazards, promoting employee well-being and maintaining internationally accepted safety standards across its operations.
Speaking on the achievement, Managing Director of Neveah Limited, Ibidapo Lawal, described the certifications as a significant endorsement of the company’s operational culture and long-term strategic direction.
“Securing these ISO certifications is an important validation of the systems, discipline and culture we are building at Neveah. As we continue to scale our recycling and manufacturing operations, our focus remains clear: to operate responsibly, deliver consistent value to our customers, protect the environment, and provide a safe workplace for our people. This milestone strengthens our position as a trusted Nigerian company competing to global standards,” Lawal said.
The company noted that the certifications come at a critical period as it continues to expand investments in recycling, metals processing and value-added manufacturing to meet increasing demand for responsibly sourced and sustainably produced materials in both local and international markets.
Neveah said the internationally recognised certifications would further enhance its credibility among customers, financial institutions, development partners, regulators and global business partners, while positioning it to take advantage of emerging opportunities in sustainable manufacturing and circular economy initiatives.
Industry analysts have increasingly identified internationally recognised management system certifications as key requirements for companies seeking access to global supply chains, export markets and sustainability-focused financing.
The company reiterated that it would continue to strengthen its management systems and operational processes by prioritising continuous improvement across quality assurance, environmental stewardship and occupational health and safety.
Neveah added that the latest achievement reflects its long-term vision of building a globally competitive Nigerian company capable of delivering high-quality products while adhering to international standards for responsible business practices.
